​The Astraean Individualist Society is a spiritual congregation of members, assembled in the name of Justice, for the contemplation and celebration of the wonders and mysteries of life, and of the glory of its growth.

Justice is respecting and treating each individual for the objective value one possesses, earns, or deserves, based on the Four Tenets.

Four Tenets of the Astraean Individualist Society

I.
Reality is objective existence, primary to our individual consciousness of it, and it exists whether or not we each know it or like it.
II.
Reason is our individual recognition of reality and of each one's power to know reality with sense and logic.
III.
Rights is our individual reason's respect for and protection of the ownership of one's life, liberty, and property.
IV.
Romance is our individual, rightful choice to love truth, goodness, and beauty.

Summary of Principles

1. Astraeans shall seek true knowledge based on senses, evidence, and logic, and shall not accept or believe as true an idea not proven to be consonant with reality and which contradicts the reason of one's own life. Astraeans shall place as high value the cultivation of reasoning ability and open inquiry to empower their lifelong pursuit of truth.
2. Astraeans shall respect, place trust in, and protect the sanctity, purity, and sovereignty of their minds and bodies, as a necessary condition of organic growth towards our highest true selves. Astraeans shall seek organic nourishment and self-sustainable health practices based on evidence, logic, and all senses. In respect of this, Astraeans shall not desecrate the sanctity and purity of their natural bodies. This prohibits Astraeans from knowingly ingesting, consuming, or injecting any substance into their bodies that is harmful or not proven to be truly safe for, or otherwise violate, the well-being and sanctity of one's own life, or that of another's life, including the unborn.
3. Astraeans contemplate and celebrate life, goodness, and beauty,  and seek authentic aesthetic representation as such that uplifts spirit, while rejecting art that demeans, degrades, defames, or denounces the romantic glory of one's life.
4. Astraeans shall hold each individual's sovereignty and ownership over their own lives as sacred and consonant with reality. In the name of Rights and individualist sovereignty, Astraeans shall hold as intolerable any coercion towards violating any of the above Tenets or Principles or the sanctity and purity of their being or that of another being.
